"Arab-Greek
Business
Village", September 24th , 2010, HotelDivaniApollonPalace & Spa/Kavouri
Dear Sirs,
One of the most important international events to take place in Greece during 2010 is the «3rd Arab-Greek Economic Forum: Fostering business alliances to tap emerging opportunities which is being jointly organized by SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises and the Arab-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Development on the 23rd-25th September 2010 in Athens. Building on the success of the two preceding events in 2006 & 2008 this Forum aims to further enhance the economic and business relations of Greece with all the Arab countries from the west Mediterranean to the Arabian Gulf.
This years' event intends to bring forward the investment and business opportunities that exists in many markets of the Arab world which, in spite of the untoward world financial situation, have retained the development dynamism through the use of their solid underlying resources, the big infrastructure projects underway and a strong capital position. Given the fact that the presence of the Greek enterprises in the Arab world could be much larger and results to date belie their true potential. We consider that this vast dynamic region can provide an outlet to their extrovert entrepreneurial tradition, counterbalancing the current difficulties in the internal market.
A minimum of 300 Greek companies and 250 business personalities from Arab countries attending the Forum will have prescheduled bilateral meetings in order to explore new business partnerships and agreements. Alongside the Forum, on 24 September 2010 the Exhibition "Arab-GreekBusinessVillage" will be organized, where Sponsors, private companies, specializing Agencies will have the possibility to promote their products and services and seek business contacts. Based on the successful experience of SEV in the Euro-Mediterranean Business Forum in 2009 and the equally successful experience of the Arab-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Development in the two previous similar events of 2006 & 2008 we consider that this joint event will be eminently productive and will contribute decisively towards a wider Greek opening to the Arab markets.
