The Center for Business and Technological Development of South Aegean (KETA):

• Provides complete and updated information about the business opportunities and the financial support offered by the EU and the Greek National Programmes
• Elaborates market studies, business guides and business operational tools to be available free of charge to all representatives of SMEs
• Encourages and motivates individuals to develop entrepreneurial skills and entrepreneurs to improve their business activities through presentations and workshops.
• Operates interactive web page and provides wap services as additional means of communication and information, as well as a tool for promoting e-business.
• Consolidates, processes, disseminates information and data which describe the local and regional economy, market trends, national and international trade fairs and exhibitions, business directories, etc.
• Provides individual (person to person) consulting orientation support to local SMEs, addressing current business issues, such as organising and planning, human resources development, marketing, sales, financial administration, etc.
• Cooperates with other local, regional and national organisations, such as Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Regional Development Agencies, the Hellenic Foreign Trade Board (HEPO), the Greem Manpower Employment Organization, educational and vocational training institutions, and others, to organize informative seminars, conferences and other functions.
• Supports and participates in favour SME's in financial banking negotiations with local banks, Venture Capital and other financial and investment institutions.
• Strengthens and encourages South Aegean SME's in the manufacturing and tourism sectors to develop export activities through the training and support of their participation in international trade exhibitions and trade missions.
